The Management Standards aim at organisational strengthening and are designed to make Member Organisations stronger, and as a result make the Confederation stronger and more effective. The standards are based on existing Caritas good practice and accepted global principles within the humanitarian and international development community. Engaging into continuous learning in fraternal collaboration the Confederation, based on and driven by the Christian Gospel and Catholic Social Teaching, aims to be a global organisation that responds to the needs of people affected by disasters and in development. The Management Standards are effective ad experimentum2 for all Member Organisations as of 1st January 2015.
