EMPOWER West Africa is a humanitarian partnership and capacity strengthening initiative focused on strengthening local leadership in humanitarian responses through institutional strengthening, capacity building, accompaniment and direcgt funding for local humanitarian actors. The project is being implemented in Burkina Faso, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Senegal, The Gamia, and Sierra Leone to address immediate shocks and long-term challenges, promote transformative peace, and provide life-giving solutions.

This document provides a brief overview of the project, its approach and its intended outcomes.
