In December 2023, the EMPOWER Latin America and Caribbean project hosted an Emergency Leadership Workshop bringing together around 20 EMPOWER partner directors and decision makers from across the LAC region to share knowledge, exchange best practices in the area of leadership and decision-making during emergencies as well as understand the vision and goals of EMPOWER partner leadership for future phases of EMPOWER. The workshop also included direct engagement for LAC partners in strategic advocacy opportunities with US government donors and decision makers.
