Medium: PDF Resource Type: Best Practices

It’s challenging for a country program to ensure its being strategic with its investments in partnership, and in strengthening partner capacity. With many different types of partnerships, different kinds of partners, that often have a range of capacity strengthen requirements, investment in capacity strengthening can be reactive and piecemeal, rather than part of a longer-term plan.

Proactive Country Program Partnership and Capacity Strengthening Planning presents an approach to partnership and capacity strengthening workplan development that is useful for country programs to effectively engage in partnership, to model intentional country-level leadership, and to elevate partnership and capacity strengthening work.
