Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is committed to achieving transformational change at scale by breaking out of traditional paradigms and expanding the agency’s role beyond project implementation to catalyzing outcomes at scale - a strategic priority of the CRS Vision 2030 Strategy "In Their Own Hands".
This course is not a "how to" guide; however, it will help you understand how to break out of traditional paradigms and what it means to be a catalyst in addition to an implementer.
With lessons that use case studies from CRS’ work around the world, the course covers scaling terminology and definitions; processes and strategies; and offers additional resources for further learning and use. This course will enable you to
- Understand what CRS means by “Catalyzing Humanitarian and Development Outcomes at Scale” and how this differs from other definitions of scale;
- Describe the main scaling processes and scaling strategies that CRS uses to catalyze outcomes at scale; and
- Know where to access additional resources to help you become a catalyst for transformational change at scale.
